Cleaning of a Loggerhead turtle in the Aboriginal community of Lombadina, near Cape Leveque. Although the Loggerhead turtle is a protected species, the Aboriginees are allowed to hunt for their traditional food.

The Loggerhead turtle is considered a delicacy. Every part of it is eaten. One turtle provides enough meat for an entire family for over three weeks.
