Biography I have a background in engineering and started with professional photography in 2000. Inspired by my father, I developed an interest in photography at the age of five. Going through the pictures of National Geographic magazine at an early age (I was too young to read English) made me dream of people and places far away. Nowadays, I spent around 3 months of the year on assignment and can see these places with my own eyes. It's a great feeling to share these destinations with visitors of my website and readers of my publications. And I promise you not to disappoint you in the future.

Work description I shoot editorial and commercial work for a large number of clients. With a background in engineering, it will be no surprise that I spend a lot of time covering science and technology subjects. My images of astronomical telescopes and satellites are published worldwide. With an appetite for travelling, a large part of my portfolio is travel, nature and environmental photography. My subjects cover the entire world, with Australia being one of my favourite destinations. Current stock includes over 100.000 images and panoramas of Australia, Austria, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Faroe Islands, Fiji, France, Iceland, Indonesia, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Slovenia, Slowakia, Switzerland, Thailand, UK and the USA. I accept worldwide assignments for editiorial and commercial photoshoots and illustrated articles (in English or Dutch).
