Loloata - Papua New Guinea

Loloata is a small island in Bootless Bay off the coast near Port Moresby. It is surrounded by a large reef and offers spectacular diving. My favourite dive sites are 'Di's Delight with a narrow swim through with huge Gorgonian fans, 'Suzies Bomme', a 24 meter high pillar with large schools of fish and the 'Pacific Gas', a 65 meter long gas tanker. The atmosphere on Loloata is very relaxed and the dive crew is excellent.Bootless Bay is also famous for its muck diving and spotting a Pygmee sea horse is common on a guided dive.
