The Kimberley is home to the famous Boab tree (Adansonia gregorii). Boab trees can grow up to a circumference of more than 30 m and can become more than 1000 years old. |
|
|
The trees drop their leaves during the dry season and grow large seeds. |
|
|
|
|
These seeds are edible and are rich in vitamin-C. |

|
|
