One of my favourite animals: the Wedgetail Eagle. This majestic bird is quite common in WA and you can see often one or two in the neighbourhood of a dead animal. Take care when driving. These birds are slow to take off and do not easily give up their pray. Slow down, when you see one! |

We camped hallfway Gascoyne Junction and Mt. Augustus. It was absolutely dead quiet after sunset. I had never experienced such silence in my life before. |
